Entrepreneurial Citizenship for Social Change

EPIC aims to equip youth organizations with the tools and resources needed to assist young people in establishing and operating social enterprises. To achieve this, our primary activities include the development of the following: ✔️Training Programme on Social Entrepreneurship ✔️Toolkit for Youth Workers on Social Entrepreneurship ✔️Gamified e-learning platform EPIC is collaborative project between Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the #EPICproject training, we explored a vibrant community space in the heart of Athens.

We talked about the social character of the Kypseli neighborhood, the value of local communities, and discovered the small businesses that bring the market to life. 🤝

A true example of how public spaces can support social entrepreneurship and create strong neighborhood connections. 🌿

We visited Shedia where we had the honor of meeting Mr. Christos Alefantis, one of the founders of Shedia Street Paper.

He shared the inspiring story behind Shedia, the magazine’s mission to support people experiencing homelessness, and the powerful creative projects they run — including Invisible Tours and the Upcycled Artworks crafted by Shedia’s community.

🤔 Did you know the magazine is also available in English?

Our visit ended with a truly meaningful meal at Shedia Home, the restaurant where formerly homeless individuals cook dishes curated by the renowned chef Lefteris Lazarou.🧑‍🍳

An unforgettable experience — full of insight, heart, and social impact.🌍
