Entrepreneurial Citizenship for Social Change
EPIC aims to equip youth organizations with the tools and resources needed to assist young people in establishing and operating social enterprises.
To achieve this, our primary activities include the development of the following:
✔️Training Programme on Social Entrepreneurship
✔️Toolkit for Youth Workers on Social Entrepreneurship
✔️Gamified e-learning platform
EPIC is collaborative project between Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
🌟 The Entrepreneurial Citizenship for Social Change (EPIC) project has officially concluded, leaving a lasting impact on the Western Balkans! 🌟
Over the past years, young changemakers in Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Kosovo have transformed ideas into sustainable social ventures, thanks to this EU-supported initiative.
Here’s what EPIC achieved:
✅ Developed the EPIC Training Curriculum on social entrepreneurship with 6 core modules.
✅ Created practical Toolkits for Youth Workers and Toolkits for Youth to guide aspiring social entrepreneurs.
✅ Hosted a dynamic workshop & study visit in Athens, equipping 15 youth workers with skills to mentor their communities.
✅ Conducted pilot workshops engaging 60 youth workers and 60 young people, testing and refining resources.
✅ Organized 3 regional hackathons, incubating 24 innovative projects—from AI-driven e-waste repair to circular economy solutions for food waste.
✅ Shifted perceptions of social entrepreneurship from philanthropy to viable, sustainable business models.
✅ Cultivated a culture of innovation, confidence, and technical competence in design thinking, budgeting, and pitching.
🎓 And the best part? All EPIC resources are now open-access, so young people, trainers, and youth organizations can continue driving social change.
